Recently, Professors Nadiya Lutsan and Anna Struk from the Faculty of Education at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University visited Italy as part of their work on the Erasmus+ Cooperation Project “mentUwell – Preserving Youth Mental Wellbeing in the Wartime Migration Crisis.”
During the visit, they became acquainted with the activities of ENAIP Veneto Impresa Sociale and Studio Progetto Società Cooperativa Sociale, organizations that implement innovative educational and social initiatives aimed at supporting young people and promoting mental wellbeing.
This project is being implemented by Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in cooperation with the following partner institutions: WSB Academy (Akademia WSB, Poland), Mykolas Romeris University (Mykolo Romerio Universitetas, Lithuania), Finnish Educational Consultancy Center (Fin Edu Consult Oy, Finland), University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca (Universitatea de Artă și Design din Cluj-Napoca, Romania), Professional Training Institution (ENAIP Veneto Impresa Sociale, Italy), Cooperative Society for Project Research (Studio Progetto Società Cooperativa Sociale, Italy), and the European Center of Entrepreneurship Competence & Excellence (Austria).
The project will continue until 2025.
The project brought together experts with experience in supporting the mental wellbeing of young people during the migration crisis. Plans are underway to develop interdisciplinary programs for educators working with migrant children and youth.
The project aims to develop a universal methodology and practical tools to support children and young people affected by the crisis caused by the war. It also seeks to strengthen collaboration among researchers from different countries, which is especially important for our university during the war and the post-war recovery period.
We sincerely thank our Italian partners for their warm welcome, productive discussions, new ideas for cooperation, and their support for our compatriots.
