Professors Nadiia Lutsan and Anna Struk participated in an international scientific conference in Poland

Professors of the Pedagogical Faculty of the Carpathian National University Nadiia Lutsan and Anna Struk took part in the International Scientific Conference “Pomoc i wsparcie w kryzysie – wojna, migracja, trauma”, which took place at the WSB Academy (Poland). It was a summary of the work of a team of scientists and experts within the framework of the Erasmus+ Cooperation Project mentUwell – Preserving youth mental wellbeing in wartime migration crisis.

This international meeting brought together educators, scholars, and practitioners from across Europe and became a valuable platform for exchanging views, experiences, and ideas on contemporary migration challenges caused by the war in Ukraine. Its participants presented a developed toolkit for educators, volunteers, and all those concerned with preserving the mental well-being of youth in the context of the war migration crisis.

The project resulted in the development of a set of educational tools, including materials developed by Prof. Nadiia Lutsan and Prof. Anna Struk: a guide for teachers: “Youth Mental Wellbeing During War”; a practical guide “How to Support Teenagers in a Crisis Situation” (recommendations for teachers and parents); a guide for teenagers “How to Cope with Stress”, etc. All materials can be downloaded for free in five languages using the QR code.

We thank our Polish partners for the wonderful atmosphere of communication, exchange of experiences, and discussion of joint ideas for new projects.
