University Professors Paid a Study Visit to Finland

From December 11 to 15, Professors Nadiya Lutsan and Anna Struk from the Faculty of Education at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University took part in a study visit to Finland within the framework of the Erasmus+ Cooperation Project “mentUwell – Preserving Youth Mental Wellbeing in the Wartime Migration Crisis.”

During the visit, they became acquainted with the Finnish education system and the professional experience of Timea Asztalos, a primary school teacher. The program also included visits to the Moniheli Ry multicultural network and two non-governmental organizations — Kulttuurikeskus Ry and MIELI — which provide mental health support to people in crisis situations. These organizations apply diverse methods and tools to assist children, youth, and adults affected by the war and to promote their social integration.

Such study visits contribute to strengthening collaboration among researchers from different countries and open new prospects for future cooperation.

We sincerely thank our Finnish partners for their warm welcome and productive meetings, and we look forward to developing new ideas and joint initiatives in the future.

Еhis project is being implemented by Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in cooperation with the following partner institutions: WSB Academy (Akademia WSB, Poland), Mykolas Romeris University (Mykolo Romerio Universitetas, Lithuania), Finnish Educational Advisory Center (Fin Edu Consult Oy, Finland), University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca (Universitatea de Artă și Design din Cluj-Napoca, Romania), Professional Training Institution (ENAIP Veneto Impresa Sociale, Italy), Cooperative Society for Project Research (Studio Progetto Società Cooperativa Sociale, Italy), and the Center for the Development of Entrepreneurial Competences (European Center of Entrepreneurship Competence & Excellence, Austria).

The project will continue until 2025.
