Professor Nadiya Lutsan Participates in International Conference at the Ukrainian Free University (Munich)

On May 21–22, Nadiya Lutsan, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor at the Department of Primary Education and Educational Innovations at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, took part in the International Scientific Conference “Ukrainian Free University: Traditions and Prominent Figures”, dedicated to celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Ukrainian Free University in Germany.

The rector of the Ukrainian Free University, Prof. Larysa Didkovska, and the Consul General of Ukraine in Munich, Yuriy Nikitiuk, addressed the Ukrainian Free University and all conference participants with their greetings.

Professor Nadiya Lutsan moderated one of the sections and spoke on the topic “Preserving the mental health of Ukrainian youth in the migration crisis of wartime: the experience of European countries”, and outlined the results of the Erasmus+ project “Preserving youth mental wellbeing in wartime migration crisis.”

During the two days of the conference, participants discussed various aspects of the history and present of the Ukrainian Free University, the contributions of its prominent professors and alumni, as well as key directions in art, culture, and science. Topical issues related to the study of Ukrainians abroad were also examined.

The conference brought together scholars from around the world, including Germany, Ukraine, Poland, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Croatia. It has become a truly international academic forum that will continue to evolve through future scholarly initiatives.
