Horizon Europe Proposal Writing Camp for Ukraine

Horizon Europe is the European Union’s flagship program for research and innovation, with a total budget of €95.5 billion. The program supports excellence in science, fosters collaborative research and innovation, and contributes to the development and implementation of EU policies, while addressing global challenges and advancing a technology-driven green and digital transition.

Horizon Europe also promotes job creation, fully mobilizes existing talent, stimulates economic growth, enhances industrial competitiveness, and maximizes the impact of investments to strengthen the European Research Area and advance the New European Innovation Agenda.

Ukraine is among the 16 countries entirely associated with Horizon Europe. This association enables Ukrainian research and innovation actors to participate on an equal footing with organizations from EU member states, including eligibility for program funding and the possibility to serve as project coordinators.

Furthermore, in response to the ongoing war, the European Commission has implemented special support measures to assist Ukrainian researchers and innovators both within the country and abroad. Additional information is available [here]

Participants in the upcoming proposal writing camp will receive training in writing high-quality, competitive Horizon Europe proposals, which will facilitate their integration into the EU research and innovation network. We will limit the number of participants to 30 and select them after the registration deadline has passed. However, we will organize additional camps and opportunities!
